Through August, Bella Cosa Jewelers Wilmette is honored to present its first high jewelry collection featuring the works of Oscar Heyman, bringing a century of New York craftsmanship to our Chicago North Shore community.

Oscar Heyman was founded in 1912 by three brothers Oscar, Nathan and Harry Heyman, after immigrating from Eastern Europe and settling in New York. Soon after, Oscar became the first non-French jeweler to be employed by Pierre Cartier, leading him and his brothers to establish their own studio dedicated to platinum mastery, exceptional colored stones and perfection.

For the Heyman Brothers, 1912 was only the beginning. Generations later, Oscar Heyman continues to hold its reputation within the industry as the “jeweler’s jeweler,” fabricating renowned pieces for famed maisons while also signing and numbering its own collections. All Oscar Heyman jewelry is made, stamped and recorded in-house in New York, reflecting a standard of craftsmanship that has earned museum recognition and a lasting place in American high jewelry.
