Fine Jewelry Consultant

Requirements
Minimum 2 years' fine jewelry sales experience REQUIRED.
- 4-year degree preferred.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience taking in jewelry repairs using microscope and loupe
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, understand their preferences, and guide them through the selection process.
- Thorough knowledge of different types of fine jewelry, watches and familiarity with prominent high end bridal designers including Tacori, Verragio, and Hearts on Fire.
- Ability to professionally address client concerns with tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in all interactions with clients and co-workers.
- Desire to develop professional experience, committing to continuing education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
- Must be able to work on Saturday.
$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
2.0% commission on all sales/vendor sponsored incentives.

Jewelry Repairs Manager
Bella Cosa Jewelers is seeking a skilled and experienced Jewelry Repairs Manager to join our Willowbrook team.
The Jewelry Repairs Manager is responsible for all quality control and serves as the primary coordinator and contact person between the sales team and goldsmith/repairs department to ensure that all client information regarding repairs is communicated accurately and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
This highly interactive position will accept and price a high volume of jewelry and watches that need repair and work closely with our sales team to ensure that we deliver the highest level of client service excellence.
**Must have jewelry repair experience to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate jewelry and watches for repair.
- Perform quality control for jewelry and watches that are finished being repaired.
- Order all supplies needed for repairs.
- Track all repairs and keep repair book up to date.
- Run weekly reports for all jobs, verify due dates, and make appropriate calls.
- Change watch batteries and bands as needed.
- Contact clients to provide updates on repairs.
- Work with Goldsmiths. regarding current repair jobs.
- Keep the sales team up to date on repairs, custom work, and special-order deadlines.
- Participate in store open/close procedures.
Requirements:
- Goldsmith or Gemologist training preferred
- 4-year college degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years repairs experience REQUIRED
- Expert in evaluating jewelry that needs to be repaired and suggesting how the item should be repaired.
- Experience using a POS system.
- Familiar with a vast majority of jewelry and watches.
- Must be able to change watch batteries and size all watch bands.
- Exceptional client service skills.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
- Excellent oral, written, and phone communication skills.
- Able to stand for 8 hours and occasionally lift 20 pounds.
- Team player with a positive attitude.

Bella Cosa Jewelers is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fine Jewelry Sales Manager with a proven record of coaching and developing fine jewelry sales teams to drive growth while maintaining the highest standards of client service and brand representation. This key position will give you the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and passion for fine jewelry sales in a beautiful retail environment.
This position plays a pivotal role in cultivating relationships with clients, providing expert guidance on our bridal and fine jewelry brands, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for luxury jewelry, exceptional sales leadership skills and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a fine jewelry retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of fine jewelry sales consultants to achieve individual and store sales goals. Provide ongoing coaching, training and development to ensure team members deliver exceptional client service.
- Customer Experience: Create a welcoming and luxurious environment for clients ensuring an outstanding shopping experience. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, providing personalized and expert guidance on fine jewelry and bridal brands.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our fine jewelry and bridal collections, including materials, craftsmanship, and design trends. Educate sales team on product features and benefits to enhance their ability to engage with customers and drive sales.

- Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with fine jewelry vendors and suppliers.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years managing a fine jewelry sales team.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- GIA/AJP certification required.
- Proven track record of leading, coaching and developing a fine jewelry sales team to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of diamonds, gemstones and luxury watches.
- Experienced in selling luxury fine jewelry, high end watch and bridal brands such as Tacori, Verragio, Hearts On Fire.

Graduate Gemologist
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Graduate Gemologist to join our Willowbrook team of passionate, professional and trusted jewelry advisors.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for diamonds and gemstones, an exceptional eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and authenticity. Must be comfortable relying on their education and accumulated expertise to produce a high volume of accurate appraisals. As part of the Bella Cosa Jewelers team, the Gemologist will collaborate with colleagues, sharing expertise and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Will back up our fine jewelry sales consultants as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of gemstones, including diamonds and other precious stones.
- Authenticate gemstones through rigorous examination and testing procedures.
- Evaluate gemstone quality, color, clarity and cut to ensure adherence to our stringent standards.
- Maintain accurate records of gemstone inventory, certifications and appraisal reports.
- Educate fine jewelry consultants and clients on the unique characteristics and value propositions of different gemstones.
- Evaluate estate jewelry items and determine product values based on market pricing, product condition, and demand of style.
- Complete a high volume of jewelry appraisals.
Requirements:
- Graduate Gemologist Diploma /GIA- in residence coursework.
- 4-year college degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in gemstone evaluation, identification and appraisal required.
- Proficiency in gemological equipment and testing techniques including spectrometers, refractometers, and microscopes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to differentiate between natural and synthetic stones.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to team members and clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
